The Book of Revelation is the last book in the Bible and therefore one of the most important. It is thus, because it is the prophetic 'roadmap'  for these the last days.

THE SEVEN DIVISIONS OF     The Book of Revelation Simplified

Almost 1900 years ago the Creator of the Universe, our Lord Jesus Christ, appeared on an island in the Aegean Sea, called Patmos. There He instructed His servant, John, to note things appertaining to his day. Thereafter John was translated into heaven and told to record events relating to the end of this age and the age to come.

It is important to realise that originally all scripture was recorded on parchments (small pieces of leather) or papyrus rolls called scrolls - they did not have chapters and verses! Also, the book of Revelation divides itself ... there are seven natural divisions, demarcated by the prefix 'AFTER THIS' which appears six times, thus seven divisions! SEVEN being the biblical representation of completion and or perfection (Gen 2:2)...

There are THREE SCROLLS ultimately joined into one composite unit and dispatched by John to the seven churches and there are TWO TIME PERIODS. The FIRST, what are happening NOW: these events occurred on Patmos in John's day (AD 95/96). The SECOND, what will transpire in the HEREAFTER: these occurrences are awaiting fulfilment.

The 7 divisions, 2 time periods 6 partitions are the keys to unlocking the enigma of the Revelation...
