Our Heavenly Father’s Primary Will
Mat 6:9-10.
Therefore pray in this way: Our Father, who is in Heaven, Hallowed
be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is
in Heaven…
Primary Will Of Our Heavenly Father:
Joh 6:28-29. Then they said to
Him, What shall we do that we might do the works (will) of God? Jesus
answered and said to them, this is the work of God that you believe on
Him whom He has sent.
Joh
6:39. And this is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all
which He has given Me I should lose nothing but should raise it up again at
the last day.
Matt:
28:19-20. And Jesus came and spoke to them (after he had risen), saying,
all authority is given to Me in Heaven and in earth. Therefore go and
teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son
and of the Holy Spirit.
Eternal
Rewards:
By extension,
the eternal implications of the above scriptures are encapsulated in the
understanding of the Five Crowns. The crowns translate into the rewards of
the saints, which in turn equate positionally to what the saints will do,
and be, for all eternity.
A Crown
of Rejoicing ~ for those winning souls.
1
Thes 2:19, 20 …for what is our hope or joy, or crown of rejoicing?
Are you (Thessalonians) not even to be in the presence of our Lord
Jesus Christ at His coming?
For you are our
glory and joy.
A
Never-Fading Crown of Glory ~ for those who willingly feed the flock of God
allotted to them.
1
Pet 5:2-4 …feed
the flock of God among you, taking the oversight, not by compulsion, but
willingly; nor for base gain, but readily;
nor
as lording it over those allotted to you by God, but becoming examples to
the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd shall appear, you shall
ll
receive a never-fading crown of glory.
An
Incorruptible Crown ~ for those who are temperate (self-controlled) in all
things.
1 Cor 9:25. (RSV) Every athlete exercises
self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but
we an imperishable (crown).
A
Crown of Life ~ for those who endure temptation & trials and love the Lord
Jesus Christ.
Jam 1:12 …blessed
is the man who endures temptation, because having been approved, he will
receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to those who
love Him.
Rev 2:10 …do not
at all fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the Devil will cast some
of you into prison, so that you may be tried. And you will have tribulation
ten days. Be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life.
A Crown of
Righteousness ~ for all those who love His appearing.
2 Tim 4:8 …now
there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord,
the righteous Judge, shall give me at that Day; and not to me only, but
also to all those who love His appearing.
Jesus Has
Many Crowns
Rev 19:12. His eyes were as
a flame of fire, and on his head
were many crowns;
and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
